• PPG is finishined filming new EPK material for AMC (American Movie Classic) 's new dramatic TV series, "The Killing." Coordinated with AMC's digital division, Rainbow Media, our shoot covered interviews with the cast of the series, a popular police procedural set in Seattle.
• Shooting & post-production is complete on an updated production of Coast Spas Manufacturing's corporate video, which originally featured comedic actor Leslie Nielsen.
• Pre-production has started on our production of a new safety video for Kinder Morgan, one of the world's leading energy pipeline suppliers. Filming will happen at their Vancouver Wharves facility in North Vancouver.
• Pacific Producers Group is the proud recipient of an Aegis Award -- our 5th -- for our production of Odenza Marketing's corporate video.
• Video production is complete on an video manual for Heart Force Medical, a Vancouver company that makes a ballistocardiograph heart monitoring device for the medical industry.
• Regency Fireplaces is having PPG produce 2 new product videos, as well as a sales-training video and another video to showcase its manufacturing process.
• We're producing a series of TV commercials for Express Pardons, set to appear in late December, 2010. A corporate video is also being planned for early 2011.
• PPG is creating new video material for Dynamic Gutters, and to ensure that their rebranding is cross-platform, we're also handling the complete revamp of Dynamic Gutters' website and coming up with a search engine marketing plan as well. Dynamic's Youtube page is here

• Freedom Health Studios, a fitness and health studio in West Vancouver, has enlisted us to produce client testimonial videos for their website.The videos also can be viewed on their Youtube page here
• New content has been added to the site -- and a Youtube Company channel has been started at http://www.youtube.com/user/pacificproducersgrp
• We're creating a new corporate video for Odenza Marketing Group, a local travel incentive company. The new video will feature a healthy dose of motion graphics intercut with video interviews with Odenza's clientele.
• PPG is working with Centaur Products once again, to complete a new TV Commercial as well as docu-promo on its work at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
• We've finished production on Broco Auto Glass' new "Chip Repair" TV commercial, on behalf of Gould Marketing and Associates. The 15 second spot is currently on the air on CTV and its affiliates.
• Produced 3 new spots for telescoping ladder company Telesteps, on behalf of Gould Marketing & Associates, each featuring split-screen editing -- to squeeze as much story out of 15 seconds as possible!
• Production on a series of commercials for West Coast Duty Free is underway. Watch the finished videos here.
• During the Olympics, we've been busy! After filming an interview with John Furlong for the official news channel of the Games, PPG put together three 3-person film crews to shoot sponsor features throughout the 3 weeks of events, which took us to virtually all of the accredited venues. Our client list included Panasonic, McDonald's, VISA, Omega, MAC Cosmetics, Samsung, Bell, Atos Origin, BCLC, and BC Hydro. Click here to see a sample of clips from our shoot with MAC Cosmetics. • Videography and editing is completed on a new set of product videos for our regular client, Regency Fireplaces.
• Editing is complete on a series of web and DVD videos for Montana-based professional education company Western CPE.
• Post-Production is finished on Coast Spas' videos and TV commercials, for their new Tublicious product launch. The new videos can be seen at their new Tublicious site; there are also 4 TV spots that are being made available to their retailers. Photos from the shoot will be up on this site shortly, as will the videos and a testimonial letter from Coast Spas' owner: Coast was extremely happy with what we produced for them! Thanks to Lorne Lapham Sales & Rentals and WF Whites for their equipment assistance.
• Production is underway for the BC Construction Safety Alliance (previously the Construction Safety Network), on a safety video for the concrete industry. The videos can be seen on their corporate site and also their YouTube page. Check out their testimonial on our testimonials page here.
• Post-Production is completed on a revised version of Nilfisk's 15 second TV spot, appearing soon on a channel near you courtesy of Gould Marketing and Associates.
• 2nd Camera duties completed for Northern Physique's coverage of the Canadian Bodybuilding Championships, held in North Vancouver. DVD's from the shoot are available at their site.
• Videography is underway for a TV pilot episode based on public pranks and gags, for Outpatients Productions.
• Production is slated to begin on an installation video and a few TV commercials for Coast Spas Manufacturing, one of Canada's premier hot tub manufacturers, based in Langley.
• Videography is completed on two TV commercials for Aroma Crystal Therapy; one is set at Capilano River, the other in a downtown apartment.
• Production is completed on two comedic TV commercials for Richmond Chrysler Dodge Jeep. The spots are airing during this year's hockey playoffs on CBC, as well as receiving regular play on KVOS-TV.
• Post-Production is now complete on several web videos for Community Living BC's WOW Awards!
• Post-production is complete on a new series of TV spots and web videos for Duradek. Shot with a Zeiss DigiPrime, the 15 second TV commercials will be on during this year's hockey playoffs on CBC, as well as the Documentary Channel, National Geographic, Newsworld, HGTV, History Channel and more. Scripting and media buying is happening through Gould Marketing and Assocaites, a dynamic local marketing agency, in our first collaboration together. Stay tuned for the completed video!
• Videography is complete on a safety training video for Fibreco Exports Ltd., in North Vancouver. 2D motion graphics will be designed by Jeff LeDrew, for Jeff's first project with PPG. Editing begins soon.
• With a few product videos under our belt, and a trade show DVD created in January for them, Regency Fireplaces is using Pacific Producers Group to create a TV commercial for Canadian and US broadcast for their dealers.
• Editing is almost completed on a new TV commercial for Wahl Canada, and will air in January on TSN. Shot on our new HPX500 camera, and with a cast and crew of 11 people, the spot features the lovable Farley, a local Komondor/Hungarian sheepdog. Stay tuned for a sample coming soon. Kudos to crewmembers Devon Cooke, David Grice, Kaleigh Harrop, Lena Kwan, and Calvin Paulger for their great work onset.
• December 24th's blanket of snow did little to dent shooting for a 60 second web-based video for Old Word Interiors, an interior decorating and design company based in North Vancouver. The video will be broadcast on OWI's new website under construction, and also on the Yellow Pages website.
• We have just finished shooting a series of short videos for a comedic performance duo, Divas Las Vegas, utilizing blue and greenscreen shots. The final delivery of the videos, slated for the end of January, will be the duo's new website, which will be designed by video assistant wunderkind David Grice. Stay tuned for samples!
• PPG has acquired a new broadcast HD camera, Panasonic's HPX-500. The camera features 2/3" chips, and can shoot from standard def to 1080p. The images look fantastic -- and all video is captured to media cards, which make for a quicker, smarter (and cost-effective) editing workflow.
• Editing is done on 5 web videos, shot by Stuart Ellis-Myers of Uniquely Speaking, for Community Living B.C.
• While Centaur Products' TV commercial has already aired, PPG has coordinated shoots in Calgary and Toronto for Centaur's corporate DVD. Filming in Richmond's Olympic speed skating oval has also been done. The final product should be online soon!
• PPG is currently in pre-production for a TV commercial and a promotional DVD for Burnaby-based Centaur Products, one of Canada's leading sports contractors. The commercial will run on eastern-based sports channel, The Score!
• Just a note: "Buccha Party", now in its 10th episode, has climbed to the #1 show on Saturdays for Omni/CHNU. The full half-season is planned for re-broadcast on Shaw's Multicultural Channel in the winter.
• Production is underway on "Buccha Party", a kids TV show aimed at local South Asian children. PPG has delivered the first 2 episodes, which have already gone to air, and are currently working on episodes 3 and 4. A half-season of 13 episodes is in the works -- we'll keep you posted!
• PPG has won another couple of awards for its "Ghost Site" 3D animated TV commercial for Leavitt Machinery; this time, we picked up two DV Awards -- one for the TV Commercial category, and the other for Sound Design!
• Work has started on a corporate video and TV commerical for Pattar Roofing, out of Surrey. The project, currently in pre-production, will be used during tradeshows as a DVD, on the company's website, and also as a TV commercial for local broadcast.
• PPG has won a 2008 Aegis Award for excellence in video production. The award was given for "Ghost Site", a 3D animated TV commercial produced for Leavitt Machinery. The Aegis Awards is a premier US and Canadian competition that recognizes outstanding video productions and local TV commercials. The Aegis recieves over 2300 entries annually, and past winners include Microsoft, The Discovery Channel, The Associated Press, and the US Army. This PPG's 2nd Aegis Award: we won won in 1998 for a long form promotional video for Queenship Yachts. You can view the Leavitt Machinery ad on our Portfolio page -- it's the TV commercial closest to the top!
• PPG covered Alpha Air's launch party on April 2nd, which was attended by many of Delta's municipal councillors and Mayor, Lois Jackson. Editing is now complete on the video -- which may be coming to their website. Alpha just started their executive service from Boundary Bay to Victoria on April 14th!
• PPG has produced a 30 second TV commercial for Leavitt Machinery, a material handling and aerial high reach equipment supplier with 17 branches in BC and Washington State. The commercial will be entirely 3D animated, using 3DS Max, After Effects, and Illusion. Look for it on CBC and Sportsnet mid-February & March during the Canucks games!
• PPG just completed a promo/ instructional video for Eco Coat Glass Protection Systems, a local business that provides an eco-friendly window protection process for developers and construction companies
• Production is finished on the second disc in a 4 part series of educational DVD's by ECE professor and author Susan Munzer-Briner
